This document describes how the app complies with the requirements of the <strong data-start=\"323\" data-end=\"363\">Austrian Web Accessibility Act (WZG)<\/strong>. It also identifies known accessibility issues and explains how you can report deficiencies to us so that we can address them.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"531\">How accessible is the app?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"533\" data-end=\"672\">We are aware that parts of the app are not fully accessible. Further details can be found in the section on non-accessible content below.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"679\" data-end=\"736\">What can you do if you cannot use parts of the app?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"981\">If you need content from the app that is not accessible to you, but which is legally exempt from accessibility requirements (see below), you can contact us via the contact form at<br data-start=\"917\" data-end=\"920\" \/><a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/faq-de.parkster.com\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"978\">https:\/\/faq-de.parkster.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"983\" data-end=\"1029\">You can also reach us in the following ways:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1157\">\n<li data-start=\"1031\" data-end=\"1075\">\n<p data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"1075\">by e-mail: <strong data-start=\"1044\" data-end=\"1073\"><a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1046\" data-end=\"1071\">kundendienst@parkster.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1076\" data-end=\"1113\">\n<p data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1113\">by phone: <strong data-start=\"1088\" data-end=\"1111\">+49 89 306 69 79 69<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1114\" data-end=\"1157\">\n<p data-start=\"1116\" data-end=\"1157\">or via the chat function on our website<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1211\">Reporting accessibility issues in the app<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1456\">We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of the app. If you encounter problems that are not described on this page, or if you believe that we are not meeting legal requirements, please let us know \u2013 we will address the issue.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1494\">Oversight and enforcement<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1496\" data-end=\"1671\">Compliance with the <strong data-start=\"1516\" data-end=\"1547\">Web Accessibility Act (WZG)<\/strong> in Austria is monitored by the <strong data-start=\"1579\" data-end=\"1623\">Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG)<\/strong> on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1673\" data-end=\"1812\">If you do not receive a satisfactory response from us regarding your accessibility request, you can contact the FFG and file a complaint.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1814\" data-end=\"1927\">Further information is available at: <a class=\"decorated-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.barrierefreiegesetze.at\" target=\"_new\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"1925\">https:\/\/www.barrierefreiegesetze.at<\/a><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1934\" data-end=\"1991\">Technical information about the app\u2019s accessibility<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1993\" data-end=\"2099\">This app is <strong data-start=\"2005\" data-end=\"2028\">partially compliant<\/strong> with the requirements of the WZG, due to the issues described below.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2134\">Non-accessible content<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2136\" data-end=\"2176\">Not compliant with legal requirements:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2178\" data-end=\"2564\">\n<li data-start=\"2178\" data-end=\"2249\">\n<p data-start=\"2180\" data-end=\"2249\">Some texts in the iOS version do not support dynamic text resizing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2250\" data-end=\"2288\">\n<p data-start=\"2252\" data-end=\"2288\">Some images lack alternative text.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2289\" data-end=\"2398\">\n<p data-start=\"2291\" data-end=\"2398\">In some places, the contrast between text and background or between graphical components is insufficient.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2399\" data-end=\"2479\">\n<p data-start=\"2401\" data-end=\"2479\">Selecting a vehicle icon and vehicle color requires a complex swipe gesture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2480\" data-end=\"2564\">\n<p data-start=\"2482\" data-end=\"2564\">Information entered by parking operators is not supported in multiple languages.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2566\" data-end=\"2750\">We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of the app and welcome feedback on what you think should be prioritized. Please write to us at: <strong data-start=\"2719\" data-end=\"2748\"><a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"2721\" data-end=\"2746\">kundendienst@parkster.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2757\" data-end=\"2786\">Disproportionate burden<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2788\" data-end=\"2916\">Parkster invokes an exception under <strong data-start=\"2824\" data-end=\"2839\">\u00a7 2 (3) WZG<\/strong> due to <strong data-start=\"2847\" data-end=\"2874\">disproportionate burden<\/strong> in relation to the following functions:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2918\" data-end=\"3231\">The target group of the app consists of people who have sufficient functional abilities to drive a car. The following navigation features are currently not available in the app and are considered disproportionately difficult to implement, as they would likely not provide essential benefits to the target group:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3233\" data-end=\"3359\">\n<li data-start=\"3233\" data-end=\"3321\">\n<p data-start=\"3235\" data-end=\"3321\">navigation using assistive technologies such as external keyboards or screen readers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3322\" data-end=\"3359\">\n<p data-start=\"3324\" data-end=\"3359\">support for use in landscape mode<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"3366\" data-end=\"3413\">Content not covered by legal requirements<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3415\" data-end=\"3529\">The following content is not fully accessible but falls outside the scope of the WZG in accordance with \u00a7 1 (2):<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3531\" data-end=\"3629\">\n<li data-start=\"3531\" data-end=\"3578\">\n<p data-start=\"3533\" data-end=\"3578\">the map displaying available parking spaces<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3579\" data-end=\"3629\">\n<p data-start=\"3581\" data-end=\"3629\">third-party content related to payment methods<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"3636\" data-end=\"3663\">How we tested the app<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"3665\" data-end=\"3913\">The app was externally reviewed by the <strong data-start=\"3704\" data-end=\"3722\">Ambition Group<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"3723\" data-end=\"3726\" \/>The most recent review took place in <strong data-start=\"3763\" data-end=\"3780\">November 2024<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"3781\" data-end=\"3784\" \/>The testing methodology included manual testing as well as tests with an external keyboard and screen reader on mobile devices.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3915\" data-end=\"3986\">We also conduct regular internal reviews \u2013 both automated and manual.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3988\" data-end=\"4041\">This statement was last updated on <strong data-start=\"4023\" data-end=\"4038\">3 June 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parkster AB is responsible for this app. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it.
